Honestly I'm just glad that we finally got a release date. Between corona and the radio silence after the demo I kinda figured it would be pushed out to next year but its always nice to actually have a set date instead of a vague year. I didn't play the demo myself but all the major UI issues I heard of were fixed so thats neat.
My two big concerns though? difficulty selection and the way they implemented turns. Having difficulty options just means that all the fights will be reduced to stat inflation/deflation. actually complicated fights will be stripped because you can't just retune an interesting and unique fight with number tweaking and "gotta make the game piss easy for vidya journos". I'm not really a fan of how they went to diet-atb either, but thats mostly because I know it will just mean that the slow jobs will suck and the fast jobs will be op as fuck, because turn economy is a very real thing and having variable turn frequency basically kills the whole brave/default dynamic. If I want a job system game with ATB elements I'll just play FFV or X-2 again.
I'll still probably get it because I fucking love job systems and customizable units, I'm just worried about how they'll fuck it up.
