Strike original from your consideration. This is a repolished version of the psp port down to them using the exact same script translated by alexander o smith.>Archers are worthless in maps with odd elevation
hardly, on top of the fact that these basically go away entirely 7 hours in Archers retain the ability to one shot anything regardless of elevation.>Casters completely rule
At end game
You're not using or carrying an entire team off the back of two mages at early game after hour one, you are with archers.
Ninja's are mid, they have great WT, amazing movement, impossible survivability, and can be configured to do stupid shit even with their summons. The only god king casters are Shaman and up (obviously including uniques) who kill something or somethings every turn. And limiting their spell library doesn't change that, it just shits on weaker/hybrid casters.>Canopus
Canopus gets memed on because you're using a unit that can fly directly to a boss and one shot them in a game in which the vast majority of your story fights only need one unit to die to progress.
Inversely Canopus remains good but less good than a generic trained archer in kill-em-all stages because he only had access to a shortbow with a shortbows range and damage and limited options compared to the million longbows.
So yes. As reiterated time and again, limiting spell library does nothing but worsen things.
