It's a based romcom. I read it after reading (starting) my billionth shounen harem romcom which bored me to tears and made me genocidally hateful of homo antispinicus. So here came Do Chokkyuu where our hero and our heroine are aggressively honest. It's refreshing.
I see exactly why it got axed: the MC was a strong, bold character, not a bland nobody who somehow wins over a mountain of girls.
